This is a course that allows students to build upon their skills in the National curriculum, making products in wood, plastics, metal or card as well as using electronics to enhance the appearance and function. Students will be given the opportunity to use various items of equipment including the laser engraver/cutter and hand tools. Within this subject, you will need to be able to demonstrate through design your concepts (ideas) with others. The projects will be designed from your own ideas taken through to realisation and a functional product.
