In Years 10 and 11 we mainly use the course entitled GCSE German for OCR. We supplement this with a range of other materials which bring students into contact with a wide range of authentic German. Students are given practice in the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing and they have opportunities to work individually, in pairs and in groups. At Key Stage 4 they will gain a more detailed knowledge and understanding of grammatical structures and communications strategies and they will build up their German vocabulary.
