For the 2020-2021 academic year, the school received a small amount of funding from the Education Skills and Funding Agency to support small group tuition for 16 to 19 students in English, Maths and other subjects where learning has been disrupted during the COVID-19 lockdown. Any student returning to the school sixth form who did not achieve a grade 4 in English or Maths GCSE, following the process of centre assessed grades is supported with additional teaching from subject specialists in groups of less than 5 students to achieve the required grade.
