Term time only (plus 5 training days, and 5 additional days) We are seeking to appoint an Executive Safeguarding Officer to join our Trust to deliver excellent safeguarding practice across our schools, ensuring our children and young people feel safe so they can learn, achieve and reach their potential. Safeguarding is of the utmost importance to the Trust and, as such, we are looking to fill this newly created role to oversee the safeguarding needs of the schools within our Trust. The successful candidate will have experience of working as a social worker/within a front-line social care/safeguarding environment.

The role is based at Harlington Upper School, and the job holder will have oversight of the other Trust schools – Parkfields Middle, Arnold Academy, Westoning Lower and Ramsey Manor Lower, all of which are in close proximity in Central Bedfordshire. The postholder will, therefore, need a valid driving license and access to their own transport.
